Easter of 2023, Church on Morgan began a project called “The Days It Felt True.” We made two books of blank scrap book paper to be offered up at each service, every Sunday, for a year. The brave volunteers who took the book home were tasked with writing a page reflecting on a time in their week when the Hope, Beauty, and Love of God all felt true somehow. The following Sunday, they would bring it back for another volunteer to take home and do the same.

Over the past year, The Days It Felt True books have been filled with vulnerable, heartfelt, transformational stories. On Easter 2024, we displayed a handful of excerpts in the halls of our church. I was tasked with documenting each page so that the intentionally crafted contents would be carefully preserved, forever. It was a joy to help execute this project! Included are just a few shots of the many stories I recorded.
